Coinbase, an American cryptocurrency exchange, has launched gift cards in Europe. Gift cards are linked with Coinbase wallets. They could be bought in Tesco, Carrefour, Costa and many others retailers. Let’s go to Asia. The Singapore Airlines, the country’s largest air carrier, has introduced a new blockchain-based loyalty program called KrisPay. KrisPay is a digital wallet for KrisFlyer’s (a loyalty program) users. The new program is focused on clients who very often use the company’s services. Travelers could convert their air miles into virtual coin, and then they are allowed to purchase some products or services in places such as restaurants, petrol stations or some retail shops using these coins.

Binance, one of the largest cryptocurrency exchange in the world, wants to enter the South Korean market. Binance has just added Korean language support. It’s worth recalling that South Korea, just like China, banned ICOs last year. Now, the Korean officials consider withdrawing from ICOs’ ban. According to Binance’s rep, the launch of the cryptocurrency exchange will depend on next policymakers’ steps. The South Korean crypto market is one of the most significant all over the world.
